The parade is Brooklyn is supposedly to be for kids but grown ups have taken over, as usual. Halloween parades are now pretty much interchangible with Mardi Gras, and maybe vice versa. Except Mardi Gras has its remaining quirks and New York is, er, New York. At Mardi Gras you don’t get six Chinese guys dressed as hasidim
