Just finished your book and found it to be fascinating and quite informative. Your encounter with David Duke was especially interesting because I grew up in the same neighborhood as David and my father worked at Shell at the same time David’s father worked there. Our families occassionally got together. I also attended LSU when David was spouting off his Nazi propaganda in Free Speech Alley. Last I heard, he is living in Mandeville, LA . Your account of David is quite accurate.
Unless I missed it, what has happened to the Lampshade? Do you still have it?

Thanks for reading the book and I’m glad you found it interesting. Mr. Duke is quite a piece of work as we sometimes say here in Brooklyn. As for the lampshade itself, it is in a safe place awaiting what hope will be some fitting new venue far away from me, perhaps in a scholarly environment where the ramifications of the object are taken seriously.
